A Crafter's Poem

Crafters are a funny bunch,

We'd rather craft than eat our lunch.

The housework, it can always wait.

It will be there on some other date.

No craft is left to be untried,

No creative thought to be denied.

Craft supplies - they're everywhere!

We're never caught without a spare.

Can our time be better spent

Than practicing our creative bent?

Let it be said when we are done,

We worked, we laughed, we had lots of fun.

Gap In Posts...Possible...

My intentions were to have 1 post everyday of new crafty creations. However, some things have changed and I wasn't able to get all that crafty this past weekend.

Unfortunately, my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years lost his job on Friday. So being crafty was far from my list of priorities this past weekend. On top of that, today I started a new online course for my Bachelor's Degree that is very demanding. For an elective, it sure demands some serious time and a lot of writing. The class due dates are also different from all of my past courses with University of Phoenix which puts a major cramp in my weekend schedule. Oh the joys of being a full-time (and part-time - CTMH) worker, student, and mom!

I'm attending a Crop Event this Saturday (after my homework is done of course) so I'm hoping to get some more projects done so I can resume posting.

Wish me luck (and I'll pass it on to my b/f in hopes for an awesome new job)!

Miracle Kit - Dry Erase Board

Here's another idea for your Miracle Kit Contents.

I saw some examples of a Dry Erase Board on a CTMH board and thought I'd try it out.

Products used:
~ CTMH Miracle Kit
~ CTMH Crystal Blue, Sweet Leaf, Olive, Tulip, and Chocolate Ink Pads
~ CTMH Crystal Blue and Chocolate Cardstock in addition to the Miracle Kit Contents
~ 12x12 Scrapbook Frame (I tried it with a cheapo that I picked up with a coupon, next time I'll purcahse a better frame)

Another great kit from Bo Bunny Press. This one is a Travel Word Book and I absolutely love the papers that came with this class kit. These kits are great timesavers and help generate crafty ideas.

I absolutely LOVE Bo Bunny products and their class kits. Their class kits provide a great starting point for some creative projects. Here is a ME CD Envelope Book that I did recently.
