Happy Halloween!!!

I cannot believe it is already Halloween and in about 2 hours time to get ready for trick or treating. Where does the time goes. This year, we had the idea of zombie/creepy babies but we didn’t want to throw out tons of money on buying the babies sold at the Halloween stores so we decided to create our own using fake blood and baby dolls that longed to be actors and actresses!

Bridal Shower Card

I created this card for a close friend of mine as a bridal shower gift. I had never been to a bridal shower and since she didn’t want any actual gifts, I thought a handmade card would put a smile on her face while respecting her wishes.

Her wedding colors are Navy Blue and White/Silver. I used Outdoor Denim Cardstock from CTMH for the blue as well as my Copic markers. The glitter paper is from American Crafts and I ran my White Daisy Cardstock through my Cuttlebug to add some dimension. I am quite pleased with how it turned out and my friend loved the gift!

Craftin’ Some Sweets

I recently took a Wilton Cake Decorating course with a friend. Here are a couple yummy goods we created:

I have since decided that I do not mind Buttercream icing for flowers but for icing the entire cake, I prefer to use Pastry Pride so I can get the Whipped Cream taste – YUMMMMMMYYYYY!

I’m looking forward to finishing the additional Wilton courses.

Until next time!
